Splendour in the Grass Border Style @ 8:31 PM

South of the Border is going to Splendour! Well actually, I am and Tara and Bek are hating me, so in an attempt to include them in the fun, I’ve asked them which artist they would most love to meet and dress. I’ve also asked them what they would be wearing to see that artist.

It was not hard for me to guess who Tara would love to style - Tara’s favourite band on the planet is The Preatures and she has the biggest girl crush on the gorgeous Isabella Manfredi.

If I was to style one of Splendour's leading ladies it would probably have to be British electric pop band London Grammar's hypnotic vocalist Hannah Ried. She would wear South of the Border's silk velvet Babylon Poncho with silver tassels, Wildfox Marianne Onyx skinny jeans that create the illusion of worn leather, to give a grunge mystical look. I would put her in South of the Border’s black lamb leather Woodstock lace up boots. I’d tie her look together with smokey eye make up and leave her blonde locks wild and free.

Now, if I was to magically acquire a splendour ticket (yes, she wrote that, heavy hinting happening there - Vanessa) If it is raining, I’d wear South of the Border's velvet high waisted flares with an Amilita white muscle tank tucked in and a Jess London Quartz crystal long necklace and black short gumboots.

If it's hot I'd rock out in South of the Border's navy Babylon sparkle sequin shorts with a white South of the Border lace top, The Border’s Open Toe sandal (or a long gumboot - it's always muddy), a navy woollen fedora hat and red lippy. My hair would be out with a messy beach look and natural make up. I would carry a South of the Border tan leather backpack stashing a Splendour burnt orange woolen poncho ready for the night ahead. Did I mention I think Vanessa is amazing and I love working for her (hehehe, nice try, Bek - Vanessa)
